Timber and Sheet Materials
Hardwood
Our main hardwood stock consists of Sapele, American Oak and Ash. As with softwood, we can machine to your profile, whether it be skirting boards, architraves or door casings.
We also carry a limited stock of Brazilian Mahogany, Afrormosia, Japanese Oak and Obeche. Please contact us for availability.
We stock Keruing and Kapur which are very durable hardwoods, usually used in commercial vehicle and trailer construction.
Solid oak flooring is available from our stock. In addition, we hold numerous samples of different species and finishes
Softwood
As would be expected, we carry a full range of softwood timber, from whitewood carcasing to best quality Russian and Swedish redwood.
All our timber is stored under cover.
We stock joists up to 300mm x 100mm(12in x 4in) in section and 6m(20ft) in length to cover most construction requirements. Most of the timber is graded to C16 or C24 and is regularised, i.e. planed all round with the corners slightly rounded. Please click on the links below to see a full list of the sections available.
Our best quality softwood comes from Russia and Sweden which we usually machine to make door casings, window sections and skirting boards etc. If you send us a sample or drawing of the profile you require, we can usually reproduce it.

Sheet Materials
We hold a full range of sheet materials, including different grades of plywood, mdf, chipboard and blockboard.
Most of the sheets are 2440mm x 1220mm (8ftx 4ft) however, we also hold stocks of larger sizes, i.e. 3050mm x 1525mm (10ft x 5ft). Please click the link belowto see our full list.
All sheet materials can be cut to size and in most cases you do not have to purchase the whole sheet. (i.e. we will keep the off-cuts to save you money).
