Established in 1882, James Ashworth is a small, family run timber merchants in the Rossendale Valley, Lancashire. Our aim is to provide the most suitable timber or sheet material for whatever your requirements may be.

 

As a traditional timber merchant, with our on site machining facilities together with our experienced staff, we are able to machine, mould and cut to size hardwoods, softwoods and sheet materials to your specification.

 

We specialise in copying timber mouldings, i.e skirting boards and architraves.

 

We pride ourselves on our quick and efficient service — most orders can be completed within 24 hours

 

We also offer a full joinery service, and are able to quote for anything from packing cases to staircases!

 

Our liveried vehicles are available for delivery Monday to Friday.
